DesignsbyEfua sees herself not only as a designer, but also as a creative person who likes to implement exciting and innovative ideas from a wide variety of methods. Working with other artists not only motivates, but also creates space for indescribable creativity. Through different collaborations, energies are exchanged and wonderful art is being created.

CREATIVE DAYS 2021
Winning project „reAct“ by Wilhelm Scherübl and Efua Jarvis Essandoh
The Vienna Business Agency was looking - in cooperation with SOUND: FRAME - for dramaturgical, functional and narrative spatial concepts for virtual environments that deal with topics of social interaction, artistic production and the exchange of knowledge.
A jury consisting of experts from the Vienna Business Agency and SOUND: FRAME as well as guest jurors Wade Wallerstein (Silicon Valet / TRANSFER Gallery) and Martina Menegon (artist / lecturer) selected the best six projects from numerous submissions.
During the tour: Free Spaces. A new social. get to know the award-winning project and spend time in their Mozilla Hubs-Spaces. “reAct” is currently used as a teaching tool at the University of Applied Arts Vienna.

Efua Jarvis x TQ_20/11/2020_ creative collective research lab_Wien
Taking the Aesthetics of Resistance (Peter Weiss, 1975) as a starting point, the group decided to place their expressions in the format of an artistic manifesto; allowing both for a public declaration of ideas and aims in their work(s) now and going forward as well as suggesting ideas for reflection and reform in the arts and cultural sector more broadly. Each written, visual, performative or conceptual element represents a demand to reimagine resistance.
